Another high-end apartment building with ground-floor shops is proposed for the area just north of the Mall at Prince Georges in Hyattsville. The five-story building on the northeastern corner of Belcrest and Toledo roads in Hyattsville would have 321 apartments and 1,258 square feet of retail space. Future phrases of the development would include more townhomes, another apartment building and a stormwater management facility. The three-acre piece of land, part of a 21-acre parcel known as the Dewey property, is currently home to several older low-slung apartment buildings.
